hello...! i have a small question about technology brought along; apologies if this is mentioned somewhere and i just missed it.

ingo had his xtransceiver (smartwatch/smartphone hybrid basically) on him at the time of arrival, so would this device be rendered entirely unusable on board, or would he be able to still use offline apps/functions? think calculator, photo album, notepad, etc.
