[ Fio's smile is a lot brighter than when she first came up to the desk earlier. Is she allowed to sneak in Friday's wish along with hers? ...There's no rule against that when finishing cranes, is there? ]
Hmm... when I finish my cranes, I'll wish for peace and happiness for all.
That's a very good idea! [thinks...] You know, if you'd like, the children's area usually has some sort of craft supplies available; maybe you can find some nice shades of paper for your cranes!
Rainbow cranes would be beautiful. I'll have to take a look over there later!
[ It's a little late for her to check right now! Not that anyone's reprimanding her being awake at the moment. She's still a bit shaky wandering at this hour. ]
And, um... thank you, Miss Friday. You're always really nice.
I think I feel a little better after talking to you. I might be able to sleep easily!
[ The bad dreams might come up, but she'll get through it.
Fio adjusts the tote bag around her arm, seeming to prepare to leave for the night. The sound of paper rustling inside reminds her-- the third thing. ]
Oh, Miss Friday... can I ask you about one more thing?
[ Politely asking, even if Friday's likely not going anywhere... ]
[ One moment as she carefully lifts the paper out from her tote. She slides the drawing onto the desk: it's a childish depiction of Fio and a small shadowy figure, fiery eyes, standing somewhere what looks to be a worn down ruin with flowers. Her favorite spot back home... and her final resting place.
It's obviously not an accurate representation, drawn by Fio's untrained hand. The figure shown beside her should be a little smaller, probably about a head shorter. The silver cuffs are missing too... but that's a far too sad detail to draw in. And besides, she wished it away in her dream. ]
Has anyone like this ever shown up on the ship? This is my friend, Sparkles.
Um... last month? Earlier last month before the mean ghost switched places with me.
[ Parts of her dream were terrifying, but she made a new friend. She misses it. She doesn't easily pick up on what might be fear in Friday's voice. Fio beams as she thinks fondly of her dream. ]
[ Okay? That was weird! Standing in place, awkwardly for a long while. Well, Fio understands Friday is a very busy lady. ]
Good night Miss Friday...
[ Which she says, after Friday's already long vanished. She looks down at the drawing, wondering if she should take it back with her or not. After a moment, she decides to leave the paper on the desk. Spinning around on her heel, she heads back to her cabin to get some sleep. ]
