"Didn't come to do that." Erin's voice is quiet but there's no hiding the twitch of rage across her face. "I want to know why you dragged me to the game after I rather specifically didn't try to attend. No bargains, no demands. Tell me to fuck off and I'm gone. But that's what I'm here for."
But she'd said something different to Tayrey. That she doesn't think the Captain bothers to lie.
After a moment she nods. "Erin is the name my mother gave me. I would prefer to be called by it if we're forced into each other's presence in the future."
Said while walking away, because she promised to go: "I don't intend to be back. You drew a pretty clear line. Maybe I'm not who I want to be yet, but I can mind my manners."
And isn't that what's really important. How you look. [snorts] Because if you could really do that, you wouldn't need to intend anything. What manners, to stomp over a line so clearly drawn for the sake of your own ego.
I'm well aware that what I want is not a factor here, so I hardly see why that would matter. Greater forces than my petty whims shape the world, and those that brought you here brought you to the show. That's all it is.
Erin nods; an acknowledgement. There really is nothing more to say...
