[He's back for round two! Sure she won last time with the Tommy Bahama, but he is undeterred! He will approach her at guest services again and not immediately launch into a litany of complaints so that's probably a relief.]
I noticed the new clothing options, and while they aren't precisely what I was intending, others [Sharky] seem to greatly enjoy them, so I appreciate the effort.
Though I am curious how it managed to fit between two stores where there wasn't room prior.
[He shakes his head, that's not what he came here for.]
I've heard from one of our other nautically leaning passengers, Captain Stede, that as a ship our current vessel is actually lacking something rather critical. A Gentleman Pirate needs to pirate afterall.
He was wondering if there was room to have an observation deck installed. A mast with a crows nest was the specific wording, but as I'm not familiar with pirate boats I'll leave that to your judgement.
[Completely deadpan because he'd like to keep pretending magic doesn't exist.]
I'm not a pirate, I couldn't tell you, but I think the idea was for it to be much taller to have a wider viewing area. He also spoke of rigging and sails - perhaps to combat some of the homesickness from being here instead of his world. From what I understand this ship looks different than the boats he is used to.
[Or well, boatsickness.]
Interesting that we've ended up with an entire pirate crew here. Does that happen often? People from the same world I mean, not pirates specifically.
Well, it does come from a much later time period on Earth than he's from... But, the ship doesn't need those things to move, so it'd be a bit silly to have them!
[a shrug] It happens sometimes! Sometimes people from the same reality show up all together, and sometimes they show up at different times! And, sometimes, there's never any people from the same reality at all!
Even if I don't enjoy the answer, I still want to know. Sometimes knowing the worst is even better, it gives one more time to prepare or to understand it further.
The morgue is part of the illusion? To make it feel more normal?
Hm.
Well, thank you for telling me what you have. This has been very informative.

[pause]
... Can't you observe just fine from the deck already? I don't really see why you'd need a whole new deck just for that!

[He clasps his palms together in an admission of defeat. Sometimes it's better to fold the smaller hands to win the larger pot.]

Of course. Naturally.
One last question, and I'm sure it's the same answer. When we die and revive, how is that accomplished? Is the morgue actually necessary?
no subject
Well, if you already know you won't like the answer, why did you even ask the question?
... It's not necessary, though; it's just... [waves hand vaguely]
