Thank you. You see, it's Ava Starr's birthday today, and I would very much like to give her a cake with lit candles. I know you have some regulations on the use of open flames in places outside the smoking lounge, but I wondered if you might make an exception for her sake. It won't be but a moment before she's blown them out again.

There's nothing in the rules about birthday candles! You just can't have, you know, something like a bonfire!

She wouldn't consider it an imposition at all. Come to the lounge at three pm. I'm having a small event for her there with a pinata and some cakes. You needn't stay long, but I think she would be glad to see you.

... Okay, I'll... Gosh, I'll be sure to make some time for it! Oh, should I bring a present? I haven't even thought...

She will be touched enough by your presence. But, if it's at all within your power I do have a suggestion. If you are able to produce a picture of the Iguazu Falls, be it a photograph, postcard, or even an illustration, I believe she would cherish it.
