April likes them since they're also a being of confusion, misdirection, and deception, but also they hate talking to them about work-related things for the same reasons. April can never tell if they're having two different conversations, or if the librarian is intentionally misunderstanding what they say for a bit, and April hates it. They hate being the brunt of bullshit humans usually fall for.
But! That's probably not it. Friday is so nice after all, maybe she's not used to someone with an ambiguous face, or...
