[ Crabb hasn't told anyone that she's going to do this! She's also making a lot of assumptions. Assumption 1: she'll pick the right elevator shaft first try (the one at the front of the ship, where there's only the elevator and stairs and the crew cabin wall on deck zero). Assumption 2: there'll be a ceiling hatch to climb out of to get a look at the shaft in the first place.
The plan is this: take the elevator down to deck zero, block the door with a chair from another deck so it won't close, then check for a hatch. If one exists, try to pop it open, if it doesn't open easily, use the Black Note's gloves to vibrate the hatch loose and/or apart.
If one doesn't exist... well, she'll cross that bridge if it comes to it. Look she's a normal human she's not going to just try and force open the elevator doors without trying something else first. ]

An old trick, from the Dark Ages; a certification that the seal has remained unbroken until it has arrived to its intended recipient. These she sets down in front of the door before turning to walk away, having absolutely no idea about the Captain's usual habits.
